Art Gallery
The Art Gallery at the Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center reflects the beauty of nature and the importance of conservation. Come see our new artists for the winter exhibition. Our First Friday Art Walks will begin again in May when you can come see the exhibition and then continue downtown to visit other art galleries that are also members of AIR.
All proceeds from the art gallery support the Friends of Maine Coastal Islands NWR.
The gallery is open during regular business hours, Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except holidays. This summer the gallery and visitor center also will be open on the following Saturdays: July 16, July 30, August 13 and August 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the help of Friends’ volunteers.
